Welcome to Kapahulu Raider Youth Association
Dear Kapahulu Raider Pop Warner families:
As we head into the 2009 season of Kapahulu Raider Youth Association, I would like to welcome you and personally invite you to get involved volunteering in any way possible. We have a lot of work to do prior to the season and look for your assistance. Our program is only as successful as its volunteers - and that means YOU! I cannot think of a better way to spend quality time with your children, and getting to know their friends and parents in the process. The volunteer opportunities are numerous, and the rewards are even greater. As I head into my 2nd year with KRYA as President, I am so grateful for the many friends that my family and I have made through Pop Warner and our involvement in it. I am proud to be a part of KRYA and look forward to another great season!
One of our primary goals for this year is to improve communications between the KRYA Board, Coaching Staff and the families of Kapahulu Raider Youth Association. This website will be the most cost effective and efficient way to share important information, so please check it often for updates and announcements. Please bear with us as the website is currently a work in progress but you can expect some exciting announcements and much more information to be added between now and the start of the season. Another goal is to continue to provide an environment that stresses the importance of academic achievement along with athletic excellence, and to teach our children the value of good sportsmanship, not only through our words, but also by own actions. In summary, Kapahulu Raider Pop Warner Football aims to provide a quality youth sports program, providing each child with a fun, enriching experience, and creating memories that will last a lifetime.
I value your opinion and encourage you to volunteer your time, and also share any ideas that you may have to improve our program for the children in our community.
